We work direct with our farmer, grower and producer-partners to bring you the most diverse range of Cumbrian artisan produce we can find - from artisan cheeses, salamis and cooked meats to farm-made dairy, ice cream, bakery, fruit, vegetables, preserves, pies, apple juice, traditional Cumberland sausage, Lake District wild venison and of course……our legendary Lake District Scotch eggs!
Every week we visit more than 20 farms, artisan bakeries and producer kitchens to pick up stock, thus ensuring that every customer visiting our shops or ordering online experiences a true taste of the Lakes!

Our unique floor to ceiling wall map of Cumbria shows you where our produce comes from, so you can see at a glance just how rich and diverse the Lake District artisan food scene really is. We encourage our customers to ask where their favourite food and drink comes from- if it’s not local you wont find it in our farm shops!
Our Ambleside Farm Shop
Situated on Church Street, nestled between the Michelin-starred Old Stamp House and foodie mecca Lucy’s On A Plate, our shop supports more than a dozen farms and offers a wide range of exclusively local produce for you to experience. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff are on hand to tell you all about the producers, farmers and growers we represent and are happy to make recommendations should you be looking for something specific or different!
Our Holker Hall Farm Shop
Situated in the former stables of this iconic Lakeland Hall and Estate on the edge of the National Park in Cark-in-Cartmel, our farm shop is is packed to the 19th Century rafters with local specialities. There’s sustainably managed wild venison from the Holker Estate (only available from our shop), freshly potted Morecambe Bay Shrimps and of course the world famous Cartmel Sticky Toffee Pudding, still made in the local bakery! Enjoy a coffee and a cake in the Courtyard Cafe, visit the Hall and Gardens or just immerse yourself the finest local produce range the Lake District has to offer with the help of our friendly, knowledgeable staff - its up to you!

Staying in the Lakes and no time to shop, but LOVE local produce? Sounds like our online shop is for you!
We deliver throughout Cumbria and also offer a Click & Collect service at our Ambleside and Holker Hall farm shops. There are more than 500 items available in our online shop - just place your order 3 days prior to your required delivery date or 48 hours before your preferred Click & Collect slot and we’ll do the rest.
